Created live presentations in collaboration with the AT&T InfoQuest Center, The New York Hall of Science, The Museum Of Holography and Azimuth Visuals. The original Symmetry band was established in June of 1978 by students from the graduating class behind "Fame". Jose Murcia and John Rivera shared a passion for music and electronics through the use of home-made sound generating gadgets, tape recorders and consumer electronic keyboards (synthesizers were too expensive back then). The name was inspired by the music and the album covers of Synergy (Larry Fast) as well as studies in geometry and surrealist art. Symmetry's music has evolved over the years and developed into a uniquely diversified style that is difficult to pin down. To put it into terms, Symmetry is a reflection of Divine perfection on Earth and throughout the universe.
